Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. This role focuses on providing technical support, troubleshooting computer and network issues, maintaining office hardware, and assisting users with technology needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hardware maintenance, software installation, and network setup to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for supporting both hardware and software needs across the organization, including:

• Providing first-level technical assistance and resolving end-user issues promptly.
• Maintaining and repairing office equipment such as printers, computers, and network devices.
• Installing and configuring operating systems and business software.
• Setting up and troubleshooting network connectivity and internet issues.
• Coordinating with technical teams for advanced system support when necessary.
• Backing up data and ensuring data protection protocols are followed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and software installation processes.
• Familiarity with network setup, internet troubleshooting, and printer maintenance.
• Ability to provide clear user support and technical guidance.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or a related field is preferred. Candidates with proven experience in technical support roles, particularly with companies handling client contracts and IT maintenance, will be highly regarded.

Work Experience

Relevant experience in roles such as Technical Support Specialist will benefit the application. Experience with client contract management and technical support within organization or government sectors is a plus.
