Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on managing invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections, supporting overall accounting functions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in billing processes and maintaining strong client relationships to manage outstanding payments effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and issuing timely and accurate invoices, verifying documentation, and collaborating closely with Operations and Sales teams for billing information. Managing customer accounts, following up on overdue payments through various communication channels, and resolving payment disputes will be critical. The role also involves reconciling receipts, assisting with bank reconciliations, maintaining accounting records, and supporting month-end closing and audit activities.

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. A background of 2 to 5 years in accounting, particularly focusing on invoicing and accounts receivables, is required. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Experience with JAE software is considered an advantage.
