Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Lifting Supervisor with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to oversee lifting operations within a major project located in Ras Laffan, Qatar. This freelance position requires a professional who can ensure all lifting activities are executed safely and efficiently, adhering to the highest standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all lifting operations on site, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and project guidelines. You will manage day-to-day activities related to lifting, verify equipment readiness, and collaborate closely with the project team to maintain smooth and safe workflow.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ practical experience as a Lifting Supervisor, preferably within oil and gas projects.
• TÜV certification is mandatory to validate your expertise in lifting operations.
• In-depth understanding of lifting techniques, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead and coordinate lifting teams effectively on-site.
• QatarEnergy approval is preferred but not essential.
• Must be currently residing in Qatar with a valid Qatar ID.
• Immediate availability to join the project.

Project Details

This role involves working at a prominent oil and gas facility in Ras Laffan, one of Qatar’s key industrial hubs. You will be contributing to critical project operations requiring strict adherence to safety and quality management.
