Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Accountant professional to join a reputable construction and contracting company based in Dubai, UAE. This role requires a solid understanding of procurement processes alongside accounting practices tailored for the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities including obtaining quotations, conducting price comparisons, negotiating with suppliers, and issuing purchase orders.
• Oversee accounts payable functions such as invoice processing, petty cash management, expense tracking, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of construction materials and services.
• Support organizational efficiency by keeping accurate procurement and financial records.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant UAE experience, preferably within the construction or contracting industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement procedures and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with managing quotations, supplier negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Experience in handling accounts payable, invoicing, petty cash, expenses, and financial reconciliations.
• Good understanding of construction materials and supplier markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
