Job Overview

General Solutions Contracting Company Saudia is seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer specializing in steel structure and fabrication projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires hands-on experience with site supervision and technical knowledge to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all steel structure and fabrication activities on-site. Key duties include:

• Supervising steel structure erection and fabrication work to meet approved drawings and specifications
• Managing installation processes in line with project timelines and quality standards
• Effectively coordinating and supervising the workforce to optimize productivity
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Ensuring timely completion of project milestones and deliverables
• Liaising with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must have at least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience specifically in steel structure projects. The following skills are essential:

• Hands-on expertise in steel structure fabrication and installation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for interpreting Shop Drawings, General Arrangement drawings, and layouts
• Experience preparing and managing site documentation such as Daily Progress Reports, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material reconciliation, work orders, and billing records
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data entry, progress tracking, material consumption sheets, and basic reporting formulas
• Ability to perform accurate measurements and quantity take-offs
• Excellent team management and communication abilities to lead and coordinate with on-site teams

Additional Requirements
