Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lifting Supervisor to join our team in Ras Bu Fontas, Qatar. This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising lifting and rigging operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Lifting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifting operation, coordinating closely with crane operators, riggers, and signalmen. This role includes inspecting cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories prior to use to guarantee safety. Monitoring load capacities, lifting radius, and environmental conditions is essential, as is enforcing adherence to QHSE guidelines and safety procedures. You will also lead safety briefings and have the authority to halt any unsafe lifting activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in lifting supervision
• Valid Lifting Supervisor Competency Certificate
• Certification in Lifting & Rigging
• Possession of a valid Third Party Inspection (TPI) certificate
• Proven experience operating with mobile, tower, and crawler cranes
• Strong proficiency in English communication
• Valid Qatar ID (QID)
