Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Electrical Planner to join a leading organization in Qatar, specializing in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth experience in electrical maintenance planning and be adept at managing complex maintenance schedules within refinery and petrochemical plants.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Planner will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing electrical maintenance activities. Responsibilities include preparing detailed maintenance plans, scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, and organizing shutdown and turnaround projects. The role also involves managing spare parts and inventory, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and using software tools to enhance maintenance operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Electrical Maintenance, preferably within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industries.
• At least 3 years of specialized experience in Maintenance Planning.
• Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) modules and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance strategies.
• Experience in coordinating Shutdown and Turnaround maintenance activities.
• Capability in Spare Parts and Inventory Management.
• Good command of MS Office and MS Project for planning and reporting.
• Fluent communication skills in English.

Work Environment

This position involves working within dynamic industrial settings, including Oil & Gas and Petrochemical facilities in Qatar. The Electrical Planner will collaborate closely with maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
