Thalassa Greek Restaurant in Muscat, Oman, is seeking dedicated professionals to join their culinary and service teams on a full-time basis. Available Positions

The restaurant currently has openings for the following roles:

• Cold Kitchen Commis (Salads & Dips): Responsible for preparing, mixing, and presenting a variety of fresh salads and cold appetizers. Key duties include making daily fresh dips, sauces, and dressings. This is a hands-on operational role focused on kitchen production rather than management.
• Pastry Chef: Tasked with creating and baking premium quality desserts, pastries, and cakes. The role involves managing the pastry section and contributing to dessert menu development to enhance the dining experience.
• Waiter / Server: Delivering excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking accurate orders for food and beverages, and serving meals promptly. Responsibilities also include maintaining table cleanliness and efficiently handling payment transactions.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 2 to 4 years working experience in 5-star hotels or luxury restaurants.
• Demonstrable expertise relevant to the specific position—whether in cold kitchen operations, pastry preparation, or front-of-house service.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety protocols, and excellent guest relation practices.
• Good communication skills in English.
