Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer with extensive expertise in façade engineering to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of hands-on experience working with aluminum and glass façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and skylights, predominantly on high-rise and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves preparing and reviewing detailed structural design calculations specific to façade systems, ensuring adherence to both project requirements and international construction standards. You will collaborate closely with design teams, production units, and onsite personnel to provide technical guidance throughout project phases. Approving structural design submissions and shop drawings will be an essential part of your responsibilities, coupled with overseeing load analyses such as wind, dead, and live loads for structural integrity.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 10 years of structural engineering experience, with a clear focus on aluminum and glass façade structures.
• Expertise in curtain walls, skylights, and various cladding systems.
• Proficiency in engineering software including ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, and AutoCAD.
• Strong capability to perform comprehensive load and material optimization assessments.
• Deep familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) as well as other relevant international standards.
• Proven track record in commercial and high-rise building projects.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia who can join immediately to support ongoing projects.
