Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Group Leader for Maintenance to join a leading automotive manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia. This critical role involves overseeing the maintenance team to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Group Leader will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of maintenance technicians and engineers. Key duties include:

• Managing daily maintenance activities and ensuring all equipment runs reliably
• Coordinating recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), machine availability, and preventive maintenance compliance
• Ensuring timely execution of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Upholding strict adherence to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use, and compliance with company policies

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering. A solid track record with 5 to 8 years of maintenance experience within the automotive manufacturing sector is essential. Strong troubleshooting expertise across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLCs, and automation technologies is highly desired. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
