Job Overview

China Railway Construction Corporation International (CRCCI) is seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler to contribute to the prestigious Diriyah project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires an expert professional who specializes in creating and managing detailed electrical BIM models and coordinating with multiple disciplines on complex building projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit. This includes preparing coordinated models for various electrical systems such as power, lighting, low-current, and containment. The role involves close collaboration with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to detect and resolve any design clashes. Additionally, the role requires producing detailed electrical shop drawings, layouts, and construction documentation while keeping models updated with changes stemming from site conditions.

Extracting quantities and supporting material take-offs from BIM models forms a critical part of this position, along with ensuring all drawings and models comply with project standards and specifications.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of overall experience is required, with at least 5 years focused on BIM processes in electrical engineering. High proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential, and familiarity with Navisworks will be considered advantageous.

A solid background in electrical BIM, particularly related to contracting companies and shop drawing production, is necessary. Experience working on residential and commercial building projects will enhance the candidate’s suitability. Furthermore, strong communication and coordination skills are critical for effective interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants who have immediate availability and possess extensive electrical BIM experience tailored to residential and commercial developments.

This position will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specifically for the Diriyah development project, one of the country’s landmark construction initiatives.
