Clear Books is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join our expanding team based in the UAE. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable professional services firm, specializing in Corporate Tax and VAT compliance and advisory services. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of UAE tax regulations and a strong client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering comprehensive UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance assignments, alongside offering expert tax advisory support. Duties include preparing and reviewing Corporate Tax returns, VAT returns, and tax computations while conducting detailed tax reviews to identify risks and growth opportunities. You will assist clients with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) registrations, deregistrations, refund applications, and assessments. Additionally, performing in-depth research on UAE tax legislation to provide practical, actionable recommendations to clients will be a key part of your work. Managing client relationships and overseeing tax assignments, as well as mentoring junior team members, ensure high standards and timely delivery across projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CTA is preferred
• Proven experience with UAE tax regulations, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong expertise in UAE Corporate Tax and VAT rules and compliance procedures
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax legislation
• Effective communication and client relationship management capabilities
• Ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently and meet strict deadlines
