Cocolily Chocolates is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team in Dubai. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with a solid background in accounting within the UAE, especially those familiar with VAT and financial reporting. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities in a dynamic food and retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, handling invoices, payments, and expenses, as well as reconciling financial statements. Maintaining accurate records, assisting with VAT and payroll processing, and preparing monthly reports are essential duties. Additionally, the accountant will coordinate communication with suppliers and collaborate closely with internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least two years of accounting experience in the UAE market
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in bookkeeping, VAT regulations, and financial reporting
• Experience using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Previous experience in food and beverage or retail sectors is advantageous
• Preference for candidates presently residing in the UAE
