We are urgently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a reputable automobile company based in Sharjah. This role involves managing various accounting functions and supporting the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for a range of accounting duties that include processing both accounts payable and receivable transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling bank statements along with supplier and customer accounts. The candidate will also assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements, prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers, maintain financial records, and support the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Keeping compliance with company policies and accounting guidelines is a must, along with coordinating audit requirements by providing necessary documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A background of 1 to 3 years working in accounting or finance roles is essential. Understanding accounting principles, financial reporting, and familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software will be required to manage daily tasks effectively. Experience in bank reconciliations, journal entries, and a basic understanding of VAT and financial compliance regulations are necessary. Strong analytical abilities, numerical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail are highly valued for success in this position.
