Job Overview

Hawel Trading & Contracting Company is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with a solid background in accounting and a good understanding of local financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi ZATCA regulations and assist with VAT documentation and filings.
• Handle petty cash transactions efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• Support administrative duties and coordinate office activities as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management, ensuring timely and accurate financial information flow.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws, especially Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations.
• Good organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage petty cash and perform standard bookkeeping tasks.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Familiarity with office administration and coordination.
