Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Site Engineer for immediate placement in Qatar. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in mechanical engineering and quality assurance/control within the construction, MEP, or oil and gas sectors. Candidates must be ready for prompt joining and possess hands-on experience managing site inspections and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical QA/QC Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring quality standards and compliance are met across mechanical site works. Tasks include conducting inspections, reviewing inspection test plans (ITPs), interpretation of inspection reports (IRs), material inspection reports (MIRs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs). The engineer will coordinate with the project team to maintain rigorous quality control and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical QA/QC Site Engineer.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficient with mechanical drawings, specifications, and site coordination processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of QA/QC procedures including ITPs, IRs, MIRs, and NCRs.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities to effectively liaise with site teams and management.
• Background in MEP, construction projects, or oil and gas industries is highly preferred.
• Immediate availability to join the project is a key requirement.
