Job Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced QC Coating Inspector to join a reputable oil and gas company based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a local hire with proven expertise in coating inspection and a solid background in mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of coatings applied to oil and gas infrastructure in compliance with ARAMCO standards.

Key Responsibilities

The QC Coating Inspector will monitor and evaluate coating applications throughout various project phases, guaranteeing adherence to technical specifications and safety regulations. Responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections, maintaining detailed reports, and collaborating with project teams to address coating-related quality issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in QC coating inspections within the oil and gas industry
• At least 5 years of relevant inspection experience
• Mandatory ARAMCO approval
• Coating CBT exam passed (mandatory)
• BGAS Grade 1 or NACE Level 2 certification obtained before 2018
