Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician with a strong background in industrial machinery maintenance and repair to join our team in Dammam. This role involves hands-on technical service, troubleshooting, and customer support across a variety of mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
The Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment. Key duties include machine setup, alignment, calibration, testing, and timely troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automation-related faults. You will attend customer breakdowns, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and deliver technical guidance and operator training to clients. Preparing detailed service reports and collaborating effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments are essential parts of the role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical experience servicing industrial machinery is required. Proficiency in understanding and diagnosing issues with motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic valves, pneumatic systems, VFDs, sensors, relays, and control panels is essential. The ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and circuit diagrams is necessary to efficiently troubleshoot and maintain machines.
Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and pressure gauges are expected. A sound knowledge of machine safety standards and safe maintenance procedures is important to ensure workplace safety.
Additional Requirements
A valid Saudi driving license is mandatory, as this position involves travel to customer sites across Saudi Arabia. Good communication skills in both Arabic and English will be an advantage for effective client interaction. Experience working with machinery such as CNC machines, press brakes, laser cutters, welding equipment, and material handling systems will be highly beneficial.
