Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instrument and Analyzer Technician for an urgent role based in Qatar Onshore. This position involves working on a high-profile project with an initial contract period of three months, which may be extended based on performance and project requirements. Immediate joiners are highly preferred to facilitate seamless integration into the team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of instrumentation and analyzer equipment critical to operations. This includes regular calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of devices such as Gas Chromatographs, Analyzer Sample Systems, pH and Conductivity instruments, Gas Detectors, and Dew Point analyzers. The technician will also be required to interpret P&ID, Loop, and Electrical drawings to support effective maintenance and operational activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in instrument and analyzer maintenance within the oil and gas or petrochemical sector.
• Hands-on expertise with Gas Chromatographs and Analyzer Sample Systems.
• Familiarity with pH, Conductivity, Gas Detection, and Dew Point measurement instruments.
• Strong skills in calibration and preventive maintenance techniques.
• The ability to read and understand process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), loop schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Relevant technical qualifications supporting instrumentation and analyzer maintenance roles.
