Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Material Engineer to join our engineering team in Riyadh. This role focuses on the research, development, and testing of materials to improve product performance across various industries. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with scientists and engineers to enhance the properties of materials, ensuring they meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Material Engineer will be responsible for conducting experiments and testing new or existing materials to optimize strength, durability, and cost-efficiency. Responsibilities include:

• Leading research and development efforts to innovate or improve materials.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate material applications and performance.
• Designing and testing materials for a wide range of products, including consumer goods and aerospace components.
• Utilizing advanced computer modeling software to predict how materials behave under various conditions.
• Overseeing prototype development and manufacturing processes to ensure specifications are met.
• Performing failure analysis and resolving material-related production issues.
• Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation to support research and product advancement.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
• Advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Ph.D. are highly preferred for research-focused positions.
• Strong understanding of material properties, characteristics, and testing methods.
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and engineering software.
• Ability to conduct detailed failure analysis and problem-solving in production environments.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing technical documentation and collaborating across teams.

Additional Information

This position is based on a supplier contract with a competitive salary package. Please note that Iqama transfer is not available as employment will be processed through Ajeer or a Kafeel No Objection Letter.
