Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and imaginative Architectural Graphic Designer to become a key member of our creative design team. This role focuses on translating architectural concepts into striking 2D and 3D visualizations that effectively communicate both interior and exterior design ideas before construction begins. The ideal candidate will combine artistic vision with technical proficiency to produce detailed renderings, environmental graphics, and engaging presentation materials that resonate with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As an Architectural Graphic Designer, your primary duties will include crafting high-quality visual assets that reflect architectural intent and enhance project communication. You will be responsible for:

• Creating detailed 3D renderings and 2D illustrations showcasing interior environments and exterior facades.
• Designing environmental graphics such as wayfinding systems, signage, and large-scale wall graphics that complement architectural elements.
• Developing visually compelling project proposals, pitch presentations, and competition entries with a strong narrative impact.
• Collaborating with architects and interior designers to accurately depict materials, textures, and lighting conditions in digital models.
• Using Adobe Creative Suite to refine renders and illustrations, delivering polished, magazine-quality visuals for marketing and client presentations.
• Ensuring all visual outputs consistently reflect the firm’s identity and specific project branding.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline. Proficiency in software tools is critical and includes:

• Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• 3D modeling and rendering software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, alongside rendering engines like V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or Twinmotion.
• A keen understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and architectural scale to create visually impactful designs.
• The ability to clearly simplify complex architectural plans and elevations into easily digestible visuals for diverse audiences.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of architectural graphic design projects that demonstrate both creativity and technical mastery.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional desirable skills include experience in motion graphics or producing architectural walkthrough animations. Knowledge of wayfinding design principles and ADA signage standards will be advantageous. Familiarity with architectural photography and photo-compositing techniques is also a plus.
