Mekdam Holding in Qatar is seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on both manual and automated testing processes to ensure the highest quality of software products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, performance testing, and collaboration within agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Software QA Engineer will oversee and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including:

• Performing manual testing alongside automation testing covering functional, regression, and automation cycles
• Developing Python-based automation scripts to streamline testing procedures
• Creating and maintaining UI automation tests using Selenium
• Conducting performance and load tests with JMeter to assess system reliability
• Managing CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps to integrate testing seamlessly with development
• Documenting testing processes, maintaining defect logs, and preparing detailed QA reports
• Collaborating closely with development teams to enforce quality standards and improve software delivery

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong expertise in Python automation scripting
• Proficiency with Selenium for UI automation and JMeter for performance testing
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps
• Preferred background in the Oil & Gas industry for domain-specific knowledge
