Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring precise management of financial transactions. Responsibilities include processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices and receipts, as well as producing financial statements. The role also involves payroll management and providing support to HR when needed. The candidate will handle VAT preparation, filing, and compliance with UAE tax regulations. Additionally, preparing financial reports, aiding in budgeting and forecasting, and coordinating with auditors, banks, and suppliers while safeguarding confidential financial information are essential duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE is essential. Strong familiarity with UAE VAT and accounting standards is required. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel is expected. Attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and strong organizational skills are crucial to excel in this role. Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is considered an advantage.
