Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIS Analyst to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in banking, financial services, or IT, who are proficient in managing compliance-related data and delivering actionable insights through advanced analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing management information systems reports, and supporting compliance functions. You will utilize your knowledge of data mining techniques and business intelligence tools to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Your role will also involve collaborating with various departments to enhance data integrity and support compliance monitoring.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years experience in banking, financial services, or IT sectors.
• Strong background in MIS, data analysis, and data mining.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced use of VBA and macros.
• Experienced with Business Intelligence platforms such as COGNOS, MSBI, and SAS.
• Knowledge of compliance tools including FircoSoft Continuity, FircoSoft Trust, and FCRM.
• Experience with Visual Basic and database management.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint skills to create impactful presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within a compliance function in a financial institution or IT environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management processes will be an advantage.
