Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer specializing in planning and scheduling to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or project management and proven experience leading project schedules across multiple sites. This role focuses on coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring seamless execution for over 50 personnel across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing detailed project schedules on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. You will coordinate closely with project managers and team leaders to align plans with organizational goals and client expectations. Managing manpower allocation, material flow, and tool availability based on project priorities will be vital.

Utilizing project management software such as Primavera, MS Project, and Excel, you will monitor and update timelines, identify risks, and create contingency plans to minimize delays. Collaborating with procurement, warehouse teams, and subcontractors will ensure that materials are dispatched on time and avoid scheduling conflicts.

Additional tasks include preparing daily work orders, monthly execution reports, and continuously refining project schedules by gathering feedback from stakeholders. You will also evaluate planning approaches to improve efficiency, optimize resource use, and control costs, while ensuring compliance with project standards and priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Between 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in scheduling, planning, or field coordination roles, ideally within construction or engineering sectors.
• Experience handling multi-site or nationwide operations is essential for this position.
• Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project, and Excel-based scheduling tools.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management systems.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the capability to work effectively under pressure and multitask across several teams.
• A valid Saudi Arabian driving license is preferred for site visits.
