A respected contracting company based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is urgently looking to hire a skilled Procurement Engineer. This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience within the Kingdom and are familiar with the local supplier landscape.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee procurement activities related to construction materials and services, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets. Key duties include coordinating with project and technical teams, assessing supplier quotations, preparing detailed vendor comparisons, managing RFQs and BOQs, and facilitating negotiations to secure competitive rates. Maintaining accurate documentation and upholding compliance with company policies are also essential components of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of procurement experience specifically in Saudi Arabia
• Working knowledge of the local supplier market and industry-standard pricing
• Proven track record managing procurement for construction, MEP, or contracting projects
• Competency in preparing and evaluating RFQs, BOQs, and vendor comparison reports
• Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent project requirements

Work Environment and Location

This position is located in Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where candidates will engage directly with project teams in a dynamic construction environment. Immediate joiners will be given preference to meet urgent project demands.
