We are looking for a dedicated Catering Storekeeper to join our team in Kuwait. This role plays a vital part in managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of food, beverages, and catering supplies. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory control while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene to support smooth catering operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Catering Storekeeper will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy.
• Storing food and beverage items following strict safety and hygiene protocols.
• Maintaining precise inventory records and tracking stock levels regularly.
• Issuing supplies to kitchen and catering teams based on approved requisitions.
• Monitoring inventory to flag shortages or surpluses and informing management accordingly.
• Conducting routine stock audits and resolving any discrepancies found.
• Implementing proper labeling, tracking expiration dates, and applying FIFO (First In, First Out) methods.
• Keeping the storage area clean, organized, and compliant with company policies.
• Coordinating with procurement and kitchen personnel to plan supply needs effectively.
• Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and company regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in catering, food services, or hospitality sectors.
• A Diploma or equivalent certification; additional credentials in hospitality or logistics are advantageous.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer literacy.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper storage methods.
• Excellent organizational abilities and diligent record-keeping skills.
