Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior MS SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with over 10 years of expertise managing Microsoft SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and ensuring database security across our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
• Implement and support Always On Availability Groups, along with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to maintain data integrity and uptime.
• Conduct regular database backups and develop recovery plans to minimize data loss risks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production databases to resolve performance issues promptly.
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database design and queries.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, including strong proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Proven ability to configure, tune, and maintain complex database environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Always On Availability Groups, HA, and DR techniques.
• Experience troubleshooting production database issues under pressure.
• Preferred certifications from Microsoft related to SQL Server administration.
• Must possess a transferable Iqama to work in Saudi Arabia.

Additional Information

This role requires an immediate relocation to Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be available to join as soon as possible to support ongoing database operations.
