Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Janitor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and a strong commitment to high standards of sanitation.

Key Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Janitor will be responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas including offices, corridors, meeting rooms, restrooms, pantries, and communal spaces. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces and furniture. The role also requires cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking consumables, emptying waste bins according to company protocols, and maintaining entrances, stairways, and elevator areas.

Responding quickly to special cleaning requests or emergencies and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors are essential parts of the job. The janitor will also operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and support deep-cleaning projects as needed, all while adhering to company policies and health and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles. Experience working in facility cleaning, preferably within Data Centers or critical facility environments, is highly desirable. Familiarity with cleaning data halls and white spaces will be an advantage. A basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation standards is necessary. Good communication skills in English or Arabic, reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to follow instructions are important. Knowledge and strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, including proper PPE usage, are mandatory. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required is expected.
