Al Masaood Energy is currently seeking a skilled CP Foreman to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in cathodic protection within the oil and gas industry. This role requires a minimum of eight years’ experience coupled with a relevant engineering diploma.

Key Responsibilities

The CP Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cathodic protection systems. Duties include conducting various surveys such as potential surveys, close interval surveys, and interference tests to ensure system integrity. The role also involves maintaining CP equipment and managing corrosion control activities, including corrosion coupon installation, retrieval, and evaluation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy, or an equivalent engineering field.
• Minimum of 8 years of practical experience in oil and gas environments.
• Proficient knowledge of cathodic protection systems and their application.
• Expertise in performing CP surveys and interpreting their results.
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronics standards related to CP equipment.
• Experience with CP system equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to handle corrosion control tasks including coupon installation and evaluation.
