We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role, offered through SAGE Talent Solutions, involves maintaining precise financial records and supporting key accounting functions to ensure the smooth operation of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various accounting duties including:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and transactions
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in a timely manner
• Handling accounts payable and receivable processes effectively
• Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow to ensure financial stability
• Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities
• Supporting internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant professional experience within accounting roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting software
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience working in Qatar is considered an advantage
