Job Overview

A reputable security systems company in Dammam is seeking a skilled CCTV and Network Technician with proven experience in installing and configuring security systems. This role involves working with both analog and IP-based CCTV technologies and requires hands-on expertise with networking and structured cabling.

Key Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for installing and setting up CCTV systems, performing network and CCTV cabling, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Responsibilities also include maintaining systems and working on customer sites throughout the Eastern Province to ensure optimal security system operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 2 years of practical experience in CCTV installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of IP and analog CCTV systems, including NVR and DVR setups.
• Capability to configure and troubleshoot IP intercom systems, TP-Link access points, and alarm systems.
• Strong understanding of UTP and structured cabling with proficiency in cable termination.
• Basic networking skills, including familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, switches, and routers.
• Working knowledge of Hikvision or Dahua systems is a significant advantage.
• Basic communication skills in English to interact effectively on site.

Additional Requirements

• Valid transferable iqama is necessary.
• Possession of a Saudi driving license is preferred.
• Candidates should be under 36 years of age.
• Must be available to start work immediately.

Work Environment

This position requires traveling to various customer locations within the Eastern Province, primarily focusing on delivering hands-on installation and support services. The role offers dynamic fieldwork suited for technicians who enjoy on-site technical challenges.
