Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will oversee piping spool fabrication, blasting, and painting activities, ensuring all work adheres to project specifications and quality standards. Immediate joining is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising fabrication processes and coordinating with various teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Daily tasks include monitoring surface preparation and coating activities, maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines, and preparing detailed progress reports to track workflow and milestones.

• Oversee piping spool fabrication, blasting, and painting operations
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
• Coordinate closely with fabrication yard, site teams, and subcontractors
• Monitor surface preparation and coating in line with project standards
• Uphold HSE compliance throughout all phases of work
• Compile and submit daily and weekly progress reports
• Communicate effectively with QC/QA personnel and client or consultant representatives

Required Skills

Strong communication and reporting skills are essential to successfully perform this role. The candidate must be able to provide clear updates and coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly desirable. Candidates with a valid transferable Iqama will be given preference due to the immediacy of the role.
