Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with a strong background in aluminum and glazing works to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This permanent position requires a professional who is capable of preparing precise fabrication and shop drawings, as well as handling Material Take Offs (MTOs) with attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and be familiar with various aluminum profiles, glass types, and glazing specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare accurate fabrication and shop drawings from Issued For Construction (IFC) documents.
• Produce detailed Material Take Offs (MTOs) for aluminum and glazing projects to ensure efficient resource planning.
• Collaborate with engineering and site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
• Stay updated on aluminum systems and glazing technologies to apply best practices in all projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience specifically in aluminum and glazing drafting work.
• Strong understanding of aluminum profiles, systems, and related fabrication processes.
• Good knowledge of various glass types, their specifications, and glazing techniques.
• Proficient in creating shop drawings based on IFC drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to efficiently prepare detailed and precise Material Take Offs to support project execution.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar.
• Immediate joiners are preferred to meet urgent project deadlines.
• Possession of a valid Qatar ID with a transferable NOC is mandatory for employment.
