United for Manpower Solutions is seeking qualified professionals for several key positions at a prominent shipyard based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The company specializes in ship repair, shipbuilding, and offshore fabrication, providing exciting career opportunities for experienced candidates in steelworks and CNC machining.

Available Positions and Qualifications

We are currently hiring for the following roles:

• Supervisor (Steel Works): Candidates should hold a Diploma or ITI in Engineering with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in shipyard steel works. Those with Higher Secondary education and 4 years of relevant supervisory experience will also be considered.
• Senior CNC Machine Operator: Applicants must have an ITI certificate, Trade Apprenticeship, or Higher Secondary education with a minimum of 3 years experience operating CNC machines within a shipyard or heavy fabrication environment.
• CNC Machine Operator: Candidates need an ITI certificate, Trade Apprenticeship, or Higher Secondary education and at least 2 years of machine operation experience in shipyard or heavy fabrication settings.
• Work Preparator (Steel Works): This position requires Higher Secondary education with preferable Diploma qualification and 3 years’ experience as a Work Preparator in ship repair steelworks. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Required Skills

• Previous experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, or offshore fabrication is essential.
• Practical knowledge and hands-on skills relevant to steel works and CNC operations.
• Basic working knowledge of English to communicate effectively within the shipyard environment.
