Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting with a focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires hands-on experience in financial reporting, audit-related tasks, and managing accurate reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Support audit processes and assist with related accounting tasks.
• Develop management reports to aid in financial decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and international standards.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed financial statements and reconciliations.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications and Experience

The applicant must hold a recognized professional accounting qualification. A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience is required, including at least two years working within the UAE. Candidates with prior experience in audit-related work will be highly regarded.
