Job Overview

We are urgently looking for a skilled Joinery Estimator to join a dynamic team in Bahrain. This role involves preparing detailed cost, time, material, and labor estimates for joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, and fit-out industries, coupled with the ability to analyze complex technical documentation and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The Joinery Estimator will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings and project documentation to develop accurate estimates. You will assess the cost efficiency of products and projects, monitor expenses during project progression, and work closely with clients, vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues related to cost estimates. Additionally, the role requires site visits for measurements and data gathering, evaluating production and labor costs, and proposing cost-effective solutions to improve profitability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as an estimator, specifically within joinery and fit-out industries.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Joinery, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Sound mathematical abilities to calculate and analyze costs effectively.
• Competent in site measurements and on-site data collection.

Work Environment

This position requires collaboration across multiple departments including design, construction, and sourcing teams. The role also involves occasional site visits to ensure accurate data collection and project feasibility analysis. A proactive and detail-oriented approach is essential for successful project delivery.
