Job Overview
We are looking to hire a reliable Office Assistant cum Driver to support our administration and operations teams. This role involves managing office tasks, handling customer communications, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining proper vehicle care. The position is based in Bahrain, involving work at the office, warehouse, and outdoor delivery sites.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing POS transactions, handling cash efficiently, preparing invoices, and maintaining sales and cash reports daily. Maintaining accurate records of clients, inventory, and goods movement is critical, along with proper documentation and filing.
Monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low will be part of the routine. The role includes professional customer interaction and coordinating with suppliers as directed. Additionally, scheduling deliveries, executing follow-ups, and ensuring the safe transport of tyres and other goods, including payment collection when necessary, fall within the scope of duties.
Safe loading and unloading, cleanliness of the workplace and company vehicle, and adherence to company policies and traffic regulations are mandatory responsibilities. Reporting any vehicle maintenance issues promptly is essential to this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Bahrain driving license is mandatory.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with POS systems.
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good communication abilities.
- Honest, responsible, and organized work ethic.
- Physically capable of handling loading and unloading tasks safely.
