Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC systems and maintenance to join our team in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing maintenance projects focused on mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting, and preventive upkeep of essential equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC and maintenance, your primary duties will include:

• Supervising and managing all HVAC and mechanical maintenance activities on site.
• Monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance operations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to HVAC systems, chillers, and associated equipment.
• Preparing and reviewing technical HVAC drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Conducting HVAC load calculations and system performance analysis with HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).
• Coordinating with technicians and maintenance teams to support timely project completion.
• Developing technical reports, maintenance schedules, and accurately estimating material requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications throughout maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ hands-on experience in mechanical and HVAC maintenance.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems such as chillers, package units, split units, and VRF/VRV technology.
• Proficient in chiller operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
• Good understanding of mechanical components including pumps, valves, and piping systems.
• Experience with engineering tools like AutoCAD and HAP software.
• Ability to read, interpret and prepare mechanical and HVAC drawings.
• Strong skills in HVAC calculations, equipment selection, and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise technicians and effectively manage maintenance workflows.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams and client requirements.

Work Environment

This position is based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, supporting ongoing maintenance projects that demand hands-on involvement at various project sites. The role requires close interaction with technical teams and clients, ensuring maintenance activities meet both safety and quality standards.
