Job Overview

Summit Engineering Solutions Contracting Company (SESCCO) is seeking a skilled Electrical Substation Testing and Commissioning team for a major upcoming project based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for teams with proven expertise in testing and commissioning substations, including low, medium, and high voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities

The selected team will be responsible for comprehensive testing and commissioning activities in electrical substations. Core tasks include:

• Performing Hi-pot testing for medium voltage (MV) equipment
• Splicing and terminating medium voltage cables accurately
• Testing a variety of substation components such as protection relays, transformers, switchgear, current transformers (CT), potential transformers (PT), and cables

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal team must have extensive hands-on experience in the testing and commissioning of LV, MV, and HV substations. Prior exposure to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects and adherence to their standards is highly preferred. The team should be proficient in working across key Saudi regions including Dammam, Riyadh, and Madinah.

Equipment and Tools

Applicants must provide their own complete suite of testing equipment and instruments necessary to carry out the full scope of work efficiently and safely.

Preferred Qualifications

Teams with verified past work on related Saudi projects and direct SEC approval will be prioritized. A solid track record in protection relay testing and substation commissioning is essential.
