Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Worker / Laboratory Technician to join a prominent industrial team in Qatar. This role involves supervising work crews and ensuring smooth, safe operations within an industrial setting, with a focus on petrochemical and oil & gas environments. The ideal candidate will bring solid leadership experience alongside technical expertise in laboratory practices and chemical handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate laboratory and site work crews to maintain efficient workflow and safety compliance.
• Oversee daily operations ensuring all activities meet project standards and safety regulations.
• Manage chemical handling procedures to uphold safety and quality guidelines.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding progress and safety concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Worker or Laboratory Technician, preferably in the industrial, petrochemical, or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong understanding of chemical safety protocols and handling procedures.
• Competent in leading teams and coordinating multiple tasks under project demands.
• Good command of English to effectively communicate within the team and across departments.
• Relevant safety and permit certifications are highly preferred to comply with project requirements.

Work Environment

The position is based in Qatar and involves working in an industrial site setting, where adherence to strict safety measures is mandatory. The role demands practical leadership in a dynamic and potentially hazardous environment, making safety awareness and hands-on supervision critical to success.
