Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Site Surveyor to join a reputable construction company in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting civil construction projects by delivering precise site measurements, setting out works, and preparing as-built surveys for buildings and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Surveyor will be responsible for executing various surveying tasks to ensure the accuracy and quality of construction activities. These duties include:

• Performing topographic and layout surveys for structures, utilities, earthworks, and foundations.
• Establishing control points, reference benchmarks, and levels to guide excavation, formwork, and structural elements.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed survey records, maps, sketches, and as-built drawings.
• Reviewing project drawings and comparing them to actual site conditions, reporting any discrepancies to the site engineer or project manager promptly.
• Collaborating closely with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure construction proceeds according to approved plans and coordinates.
• Operating surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS devices, and auto levels, while ensuring they are properly calibrated and maintained.
• Adhering to safety standards and procedures throughout all surveying activities on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level equipment.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently on site.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Site or Land Surveyor within civil construction projects.
• Availability to work in Kuwait with a valid residency permit.
