Utravel, a leading corporate travel partner in Dubai, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, proficient financial review skills, and hands-on experience with reconciliations and accounts payable processes. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting various accounting functions including:

• Reviewing monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets to ensure correctness.
• Analyzing financial reports and investigating any discrepancies or variances.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities alongside audit preparations.
• Verifying supplier invoices, supporting documents, and aiding accounts payable efforts.
• Conducting bank, supplier, customer, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations efficiently.
• Investigating and resolving reconciliation issues promptly to maintain accurate records.
• Reconciling monthly credit card statements and monitoring payment schedules.
• Providing backup support for treasury and banking-related transactions when necessary.
• Supporting vendor reconciliations and addressing any supplier queries in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong background in financial statement review, reconciliations, and accounts payable support.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical abilities complemented by strong communication and organizational skills.
