Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and supporting advanced cyber security solutions to protect our network infrastructure and data assets. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and security of our digital environment through proactive monitoring and strong technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

The Cyber Security Consultant will be responsible for deploying and managing cutting-edge security technologies such as Next Generation Firewalls, Network Access Controls, and Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) defenses. You will also work closely with various security tools, including advanced endpoint protection, honeypots, data loss prevention systems, and anti-malware solutions, to ensure comprehensive protection against cyber threats. Monitoring and analyzing security events to detect issues and reduce false positives will be a major part of this role.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proven experience with Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewalls, Endgame Endpoint Protection, Proofpoint Email Security, and Luna Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
• Strong understanding of security solutions for endpoint protection, data loss prevention, honeypots, and anti-malware technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP response codes and methods, as well as basics of REST API.
• Excellent documentation skills, with a meticulous approach to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a related field. A minimum of five years’ hands-on experience in managing and implementing cyber security solutions is essential for this role. Experience demonstrating the ability to differentiate genuine security events from false positives or errors is highly valued.
