Job Overview

A well-established engineering company based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in low voltage switchgear design. This role requires a minimum of five years’ professional experience and involves close collaboration with sales teams, project management, and customers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will handle various engineering duties including analysis and design based on detailed instructions, drawings, and specifications. Responsibilities include preparing design models for new projects using available tools, creating Bills of Material for switchgear assemblies, and producing shop drawings for production. The role also involves troubleshooting issues on the production floor and on-site, drafting responses to technical comments in coordination with project management, and participating in technical discussions with customers, contractors, and consultants.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in electrical engineering, specifically with low voltage switchgear design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of IEC codes and standards related to electrical engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good planning and organizational abilities.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify risks and opportunities.
• Effective team player with a willingness to share knowledge and listen to others’ ideas.

Work Environment

The position reports directly to the Chairman and offers an opportunity to work within a reputed company engaged in dynamic engineering projects in Saudi Arabia. The role demands both office-based design work and occasional site engagement, offering a balanced exposure to technical and client-facing activities.
