Job Overview

GESCO is seeking a highly skilled MEP Operations Manager to lead and oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations for villa and high-rise building projects in Dubai and across the UAE. This leadership role requires proven experience managing complex construction projects while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

As the MEP Operations Manager, you will spearhead all aspects of project delivery including planning, execution, and monitoring to meet deadlines and budgets. You will develop and implement effective operational strategies and policies that improve efficiency, quality, and profitability. Leading senior project managers, engineers, and site teams will be central to your role, ensuring cohesive collaboration and performance. You will also liaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities to guarantee smooth project coordination and compliance with UAE regulations and HSE guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree.
• A minimum of 30 years of professional experience in MEP contracting, including at least 25 years in senior management roles.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working as an MEP Operations Manager within the UAE, specifically on villa and high-rise construction projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE construction standards, local authorities’ procedures, and MEP industry best practices.
• Strong leadership qualities paired with excellent decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and planning abilities.
