Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our infrastructure project located in Dammam. The ideal candidate will have immediate availability and a strong background in mechanical engineering related to infrastructure works, particularly pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to:

• Performing material take-offs based on BOQ and construction drawings.
• Supervising and executing installation works for storm water and sewer lines on-site.
• Preparing and reviewing Method Statements and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Raising and closing Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
• Preparing Material Approval Requests (MARs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Coordinating technically with consultants, subcontractors, and the site team to ensure smooth project progress.
• Conducting quality control inspections and following up on mechanical works.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on infrastructure pipelines. Strong documentation skills and the ability to coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.

This position is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
