We are seeking a dedicated Medical Officer / Medical Claims Officer to join our Claims Assessment Team in Qatar. This non-clinical position focuses on evaluating medical claims and authorizations within a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing medical claims and pre-authorization requests, thoroughly reviewing medical documentation, and providing your expert medical opinions. You will coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers to ensure claims are processed accurately and align with established policies. Additionally, identifying and escalating any unusual or suspected fraudulent claims forms an important part of your duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• MBBS degree is a mandatory requirement.
• Fresh MBBS graduates can be considered even without prior experience.
• Other medical professionals should have 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in medical claims.
• At least one year of experience in medical authorization is preferred.
• Strong medical knowledge combined with an interest in non-clinical work.
• Excellent communication and computer skills to manage interactions and documentation effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in claims assessment.
• Ability and willingness to work in shifts as the department operates around the clock, 24/7.
