Job Overview

A leading bank based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Finance Project Manager with extensive experience overseeing complex financial projects and collaborating with senior stakeholders. This role requires deep expertise across various finance domains including MIS, banking systems, compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will drive end-to-end project delivery in finance-related initiatives, including implementation of core banking systems, automation of accounting processes, and financial risk management. You will manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure successful execution of banking transformation and finance automation projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong working knowledge across Finance MIS, OFSAA/FIS FTP, Business Objects, reconciliations and returns, VAT application and filing, CASA, deposits, general ledger (GL), audit, risk management, corporate and retail lending
• Demonstrated experience with core banking implementations including accounting activities, managing charts of accounts, and defining accounting entries for conventional and Islamic banking products such as lending, cards, treasury, and trade finance
• Proven project management skills within banking or finance environments, handling large scale technology transformations and automation projects
• Preferred certifications include Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Level 1, PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management qualifications
• At least 15 years of professional experience, combining project management and business analysis within banking technology and finance
