Job Overview

BriteConsult is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience, with a strong background in electrical systems related to fire protection, including fire fighting and fire alarm systems. This role involves designing, reviewing, and implementing electrical fire protection projects while ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems specifically for fire protection projects. This includes working with fire fighting and fire alarm systems encompassing detection, monitoring, and suppression mechanisms. The role requires preparing technical drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and method statements. The engineer will also supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning to guarantee all work meets NFPA, QCDD, and local regulation standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech or BE).
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of total professional experience.
• At least 2 years of dedicated experience in fire protection systems dealing with fire fighting and fire alarm technologies.
• Holding a valid driving license is mandatory.
• UPDA certification is preferred to confirm expertise and compliance with Qatar’s engineering standards.
• Experience with QCDD approvals or related local regulatory bodies will be considered an advantage.
